Just curious if anyone has been able to achieve the 600 mile EPA estimated range?
Typically, there is a fixed fee on many electric bills. This is a monthly fee that is there whether you use 0 kwh or 1000 or more kwh. It is sometimes called a service availability fee or a customer service charge. This fee can be small or could be $30 per month. This should be subtracted from the bill total before dividing to compute the per kwh cost. This will give a better comparison of kwh cost vs. gasoline cost. The fee must be paid whether or not the car is charged with electricity.I divided it by the amount of kwh's they used. And, what happened to their wholesale rate? It more than doubled. They're actually paying something like 22 cents / kwh when all the crap is added on.
