Does anyone knows if locks go down as you move to Drive or another gear mode? i have a sienna that does, as soon as you move the lever to drive the locks goes down but not in a rav4 2006 thanks

With the stock setup, no.

But my wife's Rav has an aftermarket alarm that does that.

It locks all doors when put into drive and unlocks the two front doors when put into park.

I hate that feature myself. Always go to get something out of the back seat only to find the rear doors locked...probably a programmable option but haven't messed with changing it yet. We don't have any plans for any crumb-snatchers so that feature's just silly.
