Sorry but I can't find the answer!

Planning to buy a used 2016 limited hybrid with 6k on it. My question is whether the rear wheels will not power beyond 25 mph or ???? Like the slightly older non hybrid model.

Thanks much.

The 2006-2017 gas models 4x4 center coupling lock turned off at 25mph, but all wheels still have power as needed at any speed on both gas and hybrid, there's no lock option on the Hybrid since there's no front to rear drive shaft to lock.

Thanks. Mainly just wanted to confirm that it wasn't 100% useless after 25. Glad to hear it'll still help keep wife's car straight / safe(r) on highway and quicker city driving.

Its OK at higher speeds but it doesnt handle neutral while cornering. I wish there was a proactive mode that distributed some torque to the rear wheels all the time, to get that hugging feel while cornering
