Has anyone moved the AWD Lock button from the left to the right of the steering wheel? Just wondered how much trouble this would be. It's hard to find on the left, but would be easier on the right.

Since there's virtually no need to ever push it, why move it?

I don't see why it wouldn't snap into another slot, but the issue would be the length of the cable feeding the switch.

Then again, how often are you using the differential lock to relocate the switch? I think Toyota purposefully put it where it is so we're not always looking at it because they know this isn't an offroad vehicle. It should only be used to get the car unstuck. And if you are using it regularly, you'll memorize where it is a that rate.

Unless you have to navigate through the remnants of a blizzard.
Yeahbut all it really does is keep the rear drive engaged on deceleration but only if you don't hit the brakes and only below 25MPH. W/o it the rear drive engages automatically at any speed when needed on acceleration.
