My first car was a 1994 Geo Prism (aka Toyota Corolla) that got me through high school, college, and grad school. Just as it was nearing 200k miles, an enormous oak tree branch fell on it, smashing it.

Second car was a Nissan Xterra. Had it for seven years and it was still going strong when a couple weeks back some guy ran a red light and hit me at 35 miles an hour.

After those two dirt-simple manual transmission cars, and armed with an adult paycheck and a total loss payout, I finally decided to dip a toe into the world of modern automobiles and picked up a 2020 RAV4 XLE Hybrid in white.

I went with the RAV4 because it was a reliable car in a size that fits my needs, gets great gas mileage, and seems like a versatile driver in a wide variety of conditions.

So here I am. Hello to you all. There's a lot to learn about this vehicle, so I'm sure I'll ask a lot of questions.
