just been to local garage to try bfgoodrich all terrain 235/70/r16 on my 2002 ,spare is too big for spare wheel holder,and had only 10mm gap between rear of tyre and wheel arch on full lock,couldnt live with this!,so have plumped for original sizes using bridgestones.......sigh!!!!.....never mind ,i tried

tyres too big

yep my local garage ordered in 235 70 r16 , tried 1 one on front wheel but gap too small between rear of tyre and wheel arch when on full lock (only 10mm) .with a 235 60 r16 its about an 25 to 30mm .garage have now found me yokahoma geolanders all terrain same as original sizes which i have now ordered,cant wait to see them on! and wait for some snow(hopefully)

:idea:

I can think of a solution to the problem is to get a wheel spacer or bolt extension to trim off the 10mm. Just like people put wider wheels to fit into their sedan.
