I had an extensive repair done at the dealership involving changing front bumpers. I asked today the guy in charge of this repair and he said this is a non issue and that it won't worsen or fall off. However, looking at other cars, there's really no gap that I can see, even on older or more beaten looking cars.


What do you think of it, is the mechanic right or should I worry? Otherwise I apparently have a lifetime warranty for the work so in principle if the bumper falls off they should fix it with no other charges..

Poor fitting at best. I would continue to complain. That is held in place by clips and they are not aligned correctly is my guess.
