Some stuff has been bought and place in the garage. Like a turbo kit (almost complete), Zoom Performance Clutch, Performance Oil Pump, Intercooler etc. I've calculated a little more then 4,000.00. This is nothing compared to other RAV4s in this forum. BTW, their are a lot of years between mod 1 to 38. Two things are on our side. Realiability and Dependability.

 Good topic Angel.

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent so far on my RAV.

The projector HID headlamp project alone probably cost about $800 - $900 USD. Skyline rims, another $600.00 or so; but those I have 2 complete sets (8 rims). All of the little things do add up though. :? Whenever possible, I try to do most of my mods. from scratch so that I do not have to spend big $$$$ buying an aftermarket part.

For example, my intake was made from scratch. Also, the front and rear upper strut bars. And the custom ground wires too. So far I've kept costs down alot by sourcing through ebay.

I do plan to lower my RAV soon with the TRD springs and Bilstein shocks, just saving for the Bilsteins (another $400.00 to be spent  ). I also plan to install the Addco rear sway bar. And eventually the leather interior kit that is still collecting dust in my room.

Once all that goes in, I have told myself that no more mods. will be going on my RAV. All further $$$$ invested will be towards maintenance and upkeep for the long haul.

Come on guys, this was a very old topic, since 2006 :!: I just updated it. Since then, a lot of Ravers have fallen out of the forum that had much more then what I have.
