Can’t register my RAV4 Prime in the Toyota app

I get a bizarre error that “the vehicle you entered does not match our records”

It tells me to call the customer experience center, but there is nothing in the automated menu at that number that apples to this problem. Has anyone else had this happen?

When a dealer sells a new car, he is supposed to register the sale with Toyota corporate, which enables your app. Apparently your dealer either forgot to register your car, or delayed getting it registered. That registration is also used to initiate the factory warranty so it is very important that it gets done. No registration, no warranty.
