I found 4 plastic plugs in the dash which says they are for plugging holes in the under body which are there for rustproofing. Is this something the dealer was supposed to do? Kind of weird.

I found the same in my glove compartment. When I installed new wheels I had them throw the plugs on. I’d go back to dealer.

Same situation with mine. Plugs are for holes in underside rocker panels for typing down the RAV4 for truck transport to the dealer. Dealer is supposed to plug the holes with the rubber plugs. My dealer didn't even know what they were for. Found out on this forum. Using the plugs is easy - may have to lie on the floor on each side of the RAV4 to find the holes and plug them.
