Got an email from the parts guy that ordered my molding for me from Victoria, BC.

The rumor going around the parts circles is the Toyota is thinking of stocking them in the US depots. Looks like this may show up as 2007 option in the US.

Always glad to share what we have with our American amigos.

Because the trend in auto design is away from side mouldings on the doors for a cleaner look I don't see them becoming standard, but they should be on the accessories list - obviously there's enough demand.

Can someone show a picture of what the side moulding looks like?

Where can you get it?

Canadian Tire?

What they look like..

You can also get more info at on this earlier thread

molding instructions thread and other pictures

Where can you get them..

See you are in Seattle...

Call Michael's Toyota parts department (425) 455-9500 and ask for Pat Nove [[email protected]]. Pat gets them from a dealer in Victoria, BC. Was about $107 including tax and shipping.

The moldings are a genuine Toyota part and color matched so you need to know the color code for your RAV

Would you happen to have a Toyota part number for the mo(u)ldings?
There are part numbers for each color.

Thanks to Quickdtoo, the classic silver P/N is C0050-42061-F7

The other ones are (I don't know which color they go to- am guessing here but it looks like the last three digits are from the color code on your door plate, ie classic silver on my door plate is 1F7)

C0050-42060-40
C0050-42060-70
C0050-42062-02
C0050-42063-R3
C0050-42064-R4
C0050-42066-T6
C0050-42068-R3
C0050-42068-S6
C0050-42060-40
