I have the all-weather mat package but what I'm looking for is a protector for the entire cargo area with the seats folded down. I want to protect not only the floor but the sides including all the plastic on the sides over the wheel wells and the areas on the sides that are exposed when the seats are folded down.

Is there anything like this other than ghettoing it up by hanging towels all over the place held up with gaffer's tape or something like that?

If I'm understanding what you are asking for that is a Toyota accessory.

I haven't tried these myself, but they do have what looks like good coverage:

Almost posted these, but they don't cover the sides of the cargo space.

THAT'S what I'm talking about!! The first one is the most expensive but also looks like the best one. I think I'm going to order that one.

These look good but unfortunately they don't go up the sides.

I think this is what the OP is looking for so the entire cargo area is protected

The only issue I would see is if you have the JBL sound system with the subwoofer in teh cargo area.

My discreet and versatile (and CHEAP) solution is to leave a couple of these in the back:

Folded in half they fit perfectly in the cargo area and keep stuff from sliding around. And come in handy for all kinds of larger cargo when I don't want something to bang into the plastics / trim.

So I emailed them and they said to just take a picture of the area and they would make a cutout for the subwoofer. I also just realized I'll need a cutout on the other side for the 110V and 12V plugs.

I have a couple in my cargo area, too. The $12 solution… HF FTW!

I have a bunch of towels and also some moving blankets that I used in the Subaru I traded in but after spending $60K out-the-door for a nice ride I can't convince myself to ghetto it up with a bunch of raggedy towels and shredded moving blankets. Gonna try to keep it looking as nice as possible. The ones from carmatscustoms almost look OEM.

Wow, $60K for a RAV4?
No, $60K out the door after tax, tag, fees, etc.. for a Rav4 Prime XSE w/Premium Package. The internals are nothing like a regular Rav even though it shares the name and body style. Underneath though, completely different vehicle. And no one is forcing you to buy one. If you're anywhere near SoCal and have a regular Rav, I'd be more than happy to compare them side by side.

That said, this isn't a car most people buy for financial or economic reasons, at least not after the $7500 tax credit expired.

BTW, what's this got to do with cargo mats anyway?
