Since last week I am facing the following issues:

1. When I have navigation running to announce the directions the music stops.
   Does the music resume after the driving direction is finished?
2. Unless I have the maps screen open on carplay the audio directions are not working
   This sounds normal. The directions from your map app appears to need to have the app in the foreground.
3. Cannot change the navigation volume (I tried to change when navigation is speaking directions)
   And is this when you do not have music playing at the same time?

Both of these were not happening before last week.

I have tried resetting my carplay, deleting the phone from the car and connecting it again restarting the car / phone multiple times and nothing seems to work.

I use Google Maps, but similar issue is happening with Apple maps too. I have 2023 Rav4 Hybrid XLE Premium.

1. Sounds normal to me. When a driving direction is being presented, the system mutes all other audio so you can clearly hear the directions.
2. Did your phone get any updates around the time these issues started? What iOS version do you have?
3. Last time I used Google Maps in CarPlay, I believe I was able to change the volume while the directions were being given. I'll have to check again the next time I go out.
