Finally more than half way through the owner's manual and found out about these:

Are those high water spray really going to damage any of the car components. On the Hybrid Limited with the tech package, there are the camera sensors in the front and back, four proximity sensors in front and the back, two blind spot monitors.

Is it just way of Toyota covering itself from liabilities? I bought the 7 year warranty as the 8 year isn't offered in Canada.

Bottom line is that taking any hybrid through a carwash is not recommended. The automated "touchless" type spray washes should be OK.
BTW you should also have cameras in each of the side mirrors. Stop by the dealership some day and price those side mirrors on your model, then ask yourself again if a carwash sounds like a good idea.:serious

We only go to those touchless car washes but those warnings in the owner's manual are frightening. What is this touchless car wash that you are talking about that should be okay? Are you suggesting the regular ones at the gasoline stations?

I will let my wife know she can wash it on the driveway during winter, haha. See where that lands me.
