I just purchased a 2010 RAV4 limited, had it four days and the CEL, 4WD, TRAC lights came on while driving in a snow storm. Called the dealer and he asked if we had recently gotten gas(loose gas cap), I told him no, we hadn't had to get gas yet bc the dealer gave us a full tank. I made an appt to have it checked, but removed gas cap and put it back on just in case, and the light stayed on. I got gas last night,
drove it a bit, started the car this morning, and the lights are off! I am now confused and concerned. The gas cap was on tightly the first time and I had driven it approximately 200 miles before the lights came on, should the fact that I was driving it in the snow be the reason? I don't want this happening every time it snows. That's why I bought it!! Any ideas?? Anyone have a similar issue??
