There is apparently an OEM option for 5th gens but I just use one of the generic ones from Amazon.

Not 100% sure if OEM fits the Prime, but part # is here: Center console coin tray/box

I bought both organizers from Amazon. Brand TopInstall. Fits nicely.

 

I got the cheap plastic box from Amazon. Dealer quoted me about $70 for the OEM one so that ended that idea in a hurry. I'd prefer OEM but I don't like being ripped off.

 

I have the OEM one that I believe comes standard with the regular RAV4 Hybrid Limited, part #: 58825-04010. Got it for about $29 through my dealer; some dealers match other Toyota parts websites (matched to this site).

The one thing I don't like about the popular aftermarket one - there isn't an easy way to lift it. Been thinking about adding something for grip or to pull on.

 

Yeah, that's what I read from reviews about the aftermarket one - it's difficult to lift. The OEM tray works well + the cubby organizer underneath it fits perfectly. Only bad part is that when you add both together, it's around $45. The OEM coin tray should have been included with the Prime!

 

If anyone is interested, this wireless charge pad will fit in one of the cubbies of the aftermarket tray and then plug into one of the USB ports in the center console. It works good as an alternate for the wireless tray up front and comes in handy for either wireless CarPlay or AA.

Also as an FYI, ,y 2019 Limited came with this "half-tray" for the center console. Here's a picture of the tray and the part number. Toyota wants anywhere from $33 to $45 for this tray. It does come in handy though.

I appreciate the many photos and links. So to return to my original question -- no console tray comes standard with the R4P? None came with mine and I wanted to make sure it was not an oversight. I have a 2022 XSE PP.

I haven't ordered one yet, but I would probably remove the combo lock and replace it with a keyed lock. The combo is convenient but the reviews make it sound like it troublesome.

 

absurd tray is not included with vehicle. i tried to use tray from 2004 prime V vehicle wife is not using, but it does not fit.

My 2023 SE didn't come with a tray (my 2019 Prius Prime did). I might look into one of these aftermarket Amazon ones.

 

Yup, same as FKHeath there is a rib that runs across just before halfway, very easy to hold and lift. Its not like Im in there every day anyway.

 

I put the divider mentioned in post #6 along with the tray mentioned in post #2 in my 2023 XSE. My concern had been that the height of the divider and the depth of the tray might cause a problem, but they both fit together in the console box without touching each other. Now my console box is useful.
