Hello Everyone,

I made a mistake on leaving the bug and tar (turtlewax) remover on my car side mirror for a minute. It left a mark on my side mirror is there a way to get rid of this marks? Somebody help please thank you in advance!!!

Has that Turtlewax product actually eaten into the plastic, as it appears to have done? If so, looks like something to avoid! Perhaps using a good wax sans polishing ingredients or a plastic restoration product might help, for example:

Hey guys!

Thank you for all your comments and help. It appears that armour all for vinyl and plastic fixed the issue! I am so thankful. Also, I will never spray anything like that directly to the surface area. Problem fixed!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Is this what you used? If so it would be wise to apply 2-3 coats. That plastic is somewhat porous and will absorb a portion of it. It will do wonders for the black plastic beneath the windshield wipers at the base of the hood providing you clean it well first.

303 would have worked also but is not generally available over the counter.
