chrome plating wheel... I found a shop locally and the price is $550 to chrome the wheel and center cap... anyone want to chrome their wheel too so we can get a group discount?

they also chrome plate other stuff so I'm thinking about sending in my center silver radio cover and side trim for chrome plating.

painting will never come even close to chrome plating... I think I will not chrome my wheel now... try to save up some money.

oh ya by the way want to makemyself clear... the reason paint does not come close to plating is because the best current paint can achieve about 80% reflective rate compare to chrome plating, second it will not last as long.

but don't take me wrong, it will still look good, I bought some chrome paint off ebay (just type in chrome paint) and the result is satisfary but when I put it next to real chrome, it doesn't even come close...
