So I have a 2019 Adventure, I am the first owner and it has 18,000 miles. I've noticed that when driving at low speeds, I can hear an audible click when the trans shifts either up or down (I'd say it typically happens between 1st and 3rd gear). This by all means doesn't seem normal. I took it to Toyota and mentioned it to them and they immediately thought that it was the rear diff and transfer case TSB. So, I've had both of those done, but the clicking noise is still there. Has anyone else heard this sound, is this normal? I hope not because it seems like whatever is making the sound is going to wear out quick.

If it's repeatable, can you provide a video of the AWD screen with audio? This was how I used to prove to the dealer regarding the mooing/groan on mine. It would be helpful here as well just in case you're hearing something the rest of us hear but chock it up as normal and can explain it better than the dealer.

We also own a 2019 Adventure (2nd owner, 12900 miles) and are experiencing the "clicking" sound. Our noise happens around 15-17mph and is barely audible. I "think" it's normal since I've heard of many others having the same noise, but not sure. Seems to be the rear differential re-engaging. Haven't tried it yet, but, apparently in Sport mode, you won't hear the click as the rear wheels stay engaged at all times. If you hearing a "mooing" or "vibrating" sound (similar to your cellphone ringing on vibrate), then that is a different story. I believe there is a Technical Bulletin out that will address that issue at the dealership.
