Wondering if anyone knew what would cause a clunking on the passenger side. (Sounds like from the front pass. side door to the rear tire)? Clunks when hit SOME bumps and clunks when I reverse and then go forward. Like a weight shift. Is that the frame or shocks or WHAT??? Thanks for the help.

Jackal,
I've got a pretty loud cluck when we go over a pretty pronounced bump that seems to emanate from the right rear shock. I'm assuming that either it is toast or some of it's bushings are worn...

But, since your noise is happening when you change direction, I'd check for loose cargo, make sure the jack is securely fastened under the passenger seat.

Also, push up and down on the bumpers to see if you can recreate the noise...

Noise during forward and back changes, makes me think CVJ or bushing atop strut........clunk suggests slack in something.....

there was a tsb about the disk pads clicking when going in reverse & then forward again. could also be one of the stabilizer bar links or rack end is worn out.
