Coil Springs

Recently installed the Traxda strut lift paired with Eibachs. This strut lift was created to stack with coil springs for extra lift on Adventure/TRD models. I noticed that the rear sits a little lower than the front. My theory is the Eibach rear spring is being compressed further due to the coil spacer. Everyone knows Eibach springs are softer than Dendoff springs. I’m wondering if I switch my rear springs to Dendoff coils that it will fix the rear “sag” look and even the wheel wells out a little better. Is anyone running strut lift with Eibach front springs and Dendoff springs in the rear?

Good thing you gave it two days! You're right that it'll settle a bit but I think you're also getting an extreme reading because of the lower spring on the other side. Once you get the other Dendoff spring in it should lever down the side you did first and you'll be closer to square. Best thing is to drive on them for a week or so and then go get an alignment and see where they land. Firestone's lifetime alignment plan is a pretty good deal, I paid $200 up front and every time I've changed a springset or something I go in and they don't charge again.

Thanks @Mr_Flux , I finished today and, yes, the left side dropped 1/2” . Took it for a drive and there was no noticeable stiffness. DW says she noticed no more squat. It’s a little higher than new unloaded. Fronts dropped about 1/4”. Will drive it for a while, then do an alignment. I will be able to put a little more gear now. i can now take passengers & gear—no problem. Still hope it settles a little. I think it will. If I can do this install—anyone can.

edit: overall right now, with the load I have, I’m getting about a 1.75” lift. This will settle down after awhile. Surprise is no noticeable difference in ride comfort. I don’t have any numbers before I added the gear/weight I carry. You have added weight because of the batteries. Just glad I didn’t go 310lbs/in or higher.
Awesome, glad you got it all sorted out. That sounds about right on the net lift amount. I took a trip with friends last summer and full seats plus everyone's supplies and food definitely looked bad on the rear; that's what got me looking at a fix mod and I think Mason did a great job with these new springs. Will look forward to the alignment results.
Side pic after complete install. BTW, 200lbs on hitch and NO squat. Will measure later when springs settle.

Follow up with Dendoff 255 springs. Put 200lbs on hitch, back dropped about 1/4” and no squat. Still have 25lbs in back plus full size spare tire. 2 people in front seats. Will try adding another 100-200lbs. Still no noticeable difference in drive ride.

The story ends here with this RAV4 as someone made me a cash offer I couldn’t refuse. Sold. Guess I’ll wait till new model comes out or get something different…bye for now
Glad you got your hands dirty on it while you had it! Experience is never bad.

I run the Dendoff coils with a Ready lift kit, seems that my rear sits a smidge higher. It might help. I can post a better photo once I’m off work. However my back end has nothing in it, fully packed for a trip might even it out.
Which Dendoff coil did you purchase? LS1 or HD springs? Did you have a hard time aligning the car with the combined lift?

Is it a big job to install?
