It's not from Toyota but there is this one. I've considered it but I keep turning away from it due to the small numbers on the wheels for the lock.

They added a lock to the glove compartment for 2022. I assume it's still there on the 2023 model.

I don't know, but that page only lists 2020 models in the compatible list.

 

I honestly don't understand the usefulness of this safe ... you open it by forcing it with a screwdriver!

 

Have you actually tried doing this before...?... Never mind, I don't want to know.

Even if it can be broken open by jamming a screwdriver into it, that's probably more effort than someone who's smashing and grabbing will want to put into it.

I went through this same process for my 2023 Prime XSE and found that the fit is super snug, especially around the USB port. The locking mechanism lines up well, though. I ended up going with Liberty safe after seeing others mention it. If you check their site under buy gun safes, you’ll find the exact one made for this model and trim. Feels really solid once installed.

 

I went with a console safe made specifically for the 2023 Prime XSE and install was easy, just unscrewed the tray and used the existing holes. Fits snug and feels solid.
