Coolant Bypass Valve Pigtail

On my 2019 RAV4 I replaced my coolant Bypass valve only to notice afterwards that one of the electrical pins from the old valve had broken off inside the pigtail connector. Any ideals on how to identify the two pin connector on the wiring harness?

Most Toyota OEM electrical connectors have the part number molded into them, usually on the end where the wires enter the housing. It will be very, very small so use a flashlight and magnifying glass to see it.

Once you have the connector housing number, look it up in the RAV4 wiring harness repair manual: RAV4 Wiring harness repair manual That will also show what repair wires with pin is used in that connector. The connector housing and repair wires are readily available at any Toyota dealer. The housings are rather inexpensive, but the repair wires are very expensive.

If you can't see the part number on the housing, get the wiring diagram from your dealer (it will be in TIS). That will show a reference number for every connector. Then you can use the reference number to cross reference to the part number in the wiring harness repair manual.
