Crankshaft Position Sensor Problem

I have a 07 v6 Rav4 and I got the P0335 code for bad crankshaft position sensor. I thought this would be an easy replacement but I cant find the location of the sensor. Anyone replace this sensor and have any tips and the location? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. This almost seems like a joke, the amount of work to replace a CPS. Anyone get thos done without tearing apart the front of the car and discharging AC?

Yes. You can replace it without discharging the AC, but you'll be removing the alternator at minimum. You also have to remove or loosen the radiator. It's not a fun job.
