I ordered a curt 13149 hitch from amazon
It didn't come with the bolts :/ I contacted Amazon them more less told me to pound sand. I can either return it or contact Curt myself.
So, why did even buy it from Amazon if I have to deal with the manufacture?
M12 x 1.25 bolts grade 10.9 for anyone else that might need to get them for their install
The local toyota dealership did not have the bolts either. They recommend a hardware store. Luckily the hardware store did. After 90+ minutes of driving around I have four bolts at about $5 each.
The front bolts closest to the hitch is 104.4cm ( inner to inner of the hole )
the back bolts towards the driver is 103.4.cm ( inner to inner of the hole )
It's not even square.
It needs to spread out. How did you guys bend your hitch bracket ? I thought of using the screw jack that came with the car but it's only good for about 35 cm. I think if I used a long 2by4 cut to length with the screw jack it would probably just kick out and not be that safe.
