I'm Currently in the process of fabricating a aluminium engine skid plate for my 2.2L 08 Rav4, mainly because my plastic one is pretty trashed, and for extra protection from rugged terrain, as recently I had to repair my oil pan due to a rock hitting it and denting it, after driving down my farm track.
Has anyone made one before? And if so does anyone still have the technical plans for how they made it? Would definitely help a lot and save heaps of time.
I plan to use 4mm aluminium sheet.
