I'm preparing to get the front and rear differentials drained and refilled as well at the transmission. We have had the car for a little over a year an 22k. I don't know the history, so I want to get it done.

I have been doing research on differential fluid amounts and types. I came up with 1 qt of 80w-90 for each differential. I am having trouble finding the correct amount to get for the manual transmission.

Is it ok if I get synthetic gear oil? Royal purple has been my choice of brands. Thanks.

I have used Amsoil Severe Gear (Synthetic) and Mobile 1 Synthetic Gear Oil. - 75W-90 Both works well for my transfer case and rear differential. Both use just over a quart (1.2) each
