We've 2 Rav4's with Digital Mirrors. Admittedly it took a few weeks to get used to it, but my wife and I both love them and have difficulty driving other cars without it. The ability to fill the rear with boxes or whatever and not worry about seeing out the rear window is such a blessing. Not seeing the grandchildren fooling around in the back seat can also be a blessing as we no longer sweat the little things we don't see.
I found that adjusting the view was a bit trickier than expected. I had to set the mirror so I could not see when in analog mode. I aim it so just a bit of the rear window is visible. This way when in digital mode I no longer see myself in analog mode while in digital mode. The ghosting effect was very bothersome.
Another trick I learned was that on one car, headlights behind had a star or halo effect which was a pain during the night. I adjusted the "angle" or "tilt" of the digital camera to reduce the glare and improving night use.
Basically, make sure that your analog view is not good when setting the digital view from my experience.
Good luck all and hope you enjoy your digital mirrors as much as I do.
