With my winter tires on and the colder climate, I went from 5.7-6L/100kms to about 8.5L so far. Seeing a huge difference in how much the ICE engine turns on WAY more often. Also notice that the battery indicator is never missing more than 3 bars, compared to during summer, it would sometime goes as far as 2 bars left.
Running unseasonably cold in MN for weeks now. Mostly range 20-40F. Mileage has dropped from 40-41 mpg to 35-36mpg. To be expected. My just sold 07 CRV would have been running around 20 mpg in this weather.
That would be a special Tundra if it really is averaging 27mpg. The 17 Tundra rental I used for a few weeks summer before last averaged about 15MPG in 50/50 city and highway driving. 27mpg overall for a full size is probably only acheivable by the Ram ecodiesel.
