I'm still looking for a good shop manual either in print or something I can download. I'm not looking for a free manual or material but a reliable source. I know the "Toyota Information System" exists but it seems cumbersome to use and having the "rent" the site by the day is a hassle. I would love to just thumb through a service manual and learn about the systems in my car. I'm way past my prime for working on cars anymore but I would find the manual useful to learn how systems work and if there is a malfunction I can explain the issue better to the technician that will take on the repair.
I found this Cardiagn.com website and there is information there but there is something that just doesn't feel right about it as it's "totally free". Also one time I went to look up something and was totally locked out!! Anyone have any comments on this site? I would love some advice on this and again TIS is just not going to work for me in the way I would like to use it.
Thanks for your help.
