Has anyone downshifted at speeds above 70-75? I can’t find any place in the manual where it gives the maximum speed in each gear. When I have downshifted it always goes to S4, but that may be because I am going much slower than 75. The manual indicates the following” Downshifting restrictions warning buzzer
To help ensure safety and driving performance, downshifting operation may
sometimes be restricted. In some circumstances, downshifting may not be
possible even when the shift lever is operated. (A buzzer will sound twice.)”
It also says “The selected shift range, from S1
to S6, will be displayed on the
multi-information display.
The initial shift range in S mode is
automatically set to between S2
and S5 according to vehicle speed”
I wonder if I tried to downshift to S at high speed if I could then get it into S6 if I was going too fast for S5.

Yes, sort of--but it is a little concerning to hear it beep. I wonder if when it beeps if I could even get it to go into S6. Probably not. Thanks.

I downshift all the time to slow down and have never had a warning. On my 2016 XLE I noticed that 2nd and 1st really don't slow you down much. On my 2011 Sport model I had every downshift seemed to slow you down considerably.
