Thanks guys, I have decided on Weathertech mats, from WeatherTech web site.

They seem to have better prices than anyone on the the net!

Again, I have to say thanks for the responds!

even sillier question

has anyone installed the "grey" weathertech liners in a dark charcoal (black) fabric interior??

I think those grey liners look awefully slick on the website, but are they too bright for the dark interior?

I have to correct my statement. I got the WeatherTech liners, not the mats!

And I love them.

I have Husky liners in my Dodge Ram and they are "ok" but nothing to compared to the WeatherTech liners!

Get the liners!

If you don't like shelling-out big bucks for Weathertech or OEM, you might consider the inexpensive Kraco mats sold at Costco. Though they don't fit quite as well as the Weathertech and/or OEM Toyota ones, they can be trimmed to get pretty close. I have a set in my 07 Sport. I believe they cost around $17 (US) for four (two longer front, two small rear) whereas the others cost about four times that.

Snow melts from my boots into the channels in the mats and evaporates over time--even in California's relatively humid Sierra Nevada mountains. Though the deep mats can handle a lot of melted snow, I take care to knock my boots together as I enter to drop the snow outside and minimize the amount of snow that I bring into the car. I also set the heater controls to blow hot air through the floor vents once the windows have defogged and this seems to speed-up the melting and evaporation.

WeatherTech Liners

Received my liners yesterday! Overall, I think they're going to work great. In particular, the front seat liners fit perfectly; they'll eliminate any chance that water/salt will get on the carpet.

Will provide photos upon request.

I have the dark charcoal interior, pacific blue metallic exterior, with the black liners.

Quick question, are you planning on using your all year round? In Buffalo, our winter lasts six months lol.

I keep my floor liners in year round, they are great in wet weather and also great for keeping the carpet clean in dry weather.

I have Toyota All Weather mats in both RAVs.
And why not?? I made it part of the deal!

Photos of mats in car

Is there any chance someone could post a photo of the Toyota all weather mats in the car. I'm particularly curious about the second row seats. Are these good enough to protect the floor with a baby, or should I pay more for the weathertec?
Thanks

big ted, I personally would go with the weathertech. I been very impressed with them. Mine looks great and it's so nice getting into the vehicle and not worry about dirtying up the carpet. Where I'm from, we get all kind of weather. It's just nice to wipe the mat up with a wet rag and it looks brand new.

There is a big difference between mats and floor liners, for the best protection get floor liners from weathertech or husky.

Floor Liners!

bigted

If I get the opportunity over the weekend I'll take some photos of the floor liners, so you can get a good idea if they're 'baby proof'. I got mine for two reason, the weather up here destroys the interior and my wife's expecting.

WeatherTec liners

hey, when you wash the RAV, the last thing you do is use the washrag to sop up the water from the liner.

Then you throw it away so you never scratch your baby.

Unless you one of those weird people that wash their wash rags...

(it only takes one grain of sand....)

+1

I have the WeatherTech floor liners. They're priceless...especially with little kids in the back seat. I've had my Rav for 22 months and with 8 yr old and a 23 month old daughters, I can't count the number of times the back seat floor liners have saved me from dropped/leaking bottles, sippy cups, juice boxes, snacks, etc.

I had gone with the all weather mats in my last car and thought they were pretty good until my 8 yr old (then 6) dropped a 20 oz. bottle of OJ and didn't bother to mention it. The OJ overflowed the mat, soaked into the carpet and proceeded to ferment for a couple days before I found it. At least with the floor liner it wouldn't have ever gotten into the carpet...

Does anyone know of any sites where you can beat the factory costs on the WeatherTech liners? Do forum members get any deals?

Thanks,
C.H.

Just got my Weathertech floor liners! LOVE them! Perfect fit.:) But what I hate is the fact that Canadian web-site is offering the same product for more money! WT…!?!?!? :wall

Just purchased the grey mats from WeatherTech for my new 08. Like the that they have the 2 holes on the driver side to hold them in place. Prob. be fine with out the holes, just a added feature.
