My antenna bezel is cracked, and I thought it would be great to replace it. However, when I looked at it, I cant remove the little knob thing at the tip of the antenna. I then wondered if one has to buy the whole unit, and then....how difficult would it be to connect up all the wiring. My feeling is that I should just leave it alone and not dick around with it......or take it to the dealer and get charged an outrageous amount to do something that's just cosmetic.

If it's like my old Civic was, the bezel is part of the antenna assembly, not a separate part. Unplug the cable from the radio, then remove those 2 screws. The whole thing should just pull out through the hole, cable and all.
