Hi ravers.

At last I found the fenders I wanted for my RAV4.
I live in Denmark and aftermarked parts are pretty hard to find around here. But some website here in DK, could get a set of EGR flares sent from Italy.

Here is some before and after pics...

I like the look of it, but most of all, I love the fact that all the mud isn't gonna spray all over my windshield since my rims are ET 13 in stead of original 42... Kind of wide

Good looking Rav Ninja. I live in Seattle WA and I' ve been looking for those flares forever. I found some with bumper extension from the stealer for $. 600+ :wall. I'm still looking for used ones from the junkyards but 2 door are getting rare.

Don't go to wide with the spacers... Since it moves the Wheel further out from the car, it Closes in om the inner Arches (at the bottom) when turning the Wheels full.

My rims are Dotz Dakar 16" x 7" with ET13... Tyres are 235/60 - 16... There isn't room for bigger tyres with that ET when the Wheels are turning full Lock. I got about 5mm left of room at max!

But Next month I'm buying a lifterkit 35mm, from UK.

Just cant decide which tyres to go with... Insa Turbo Dakar vs Marix Puma....
Road ability is no concern since I have a set of spare Wheels with road tyres on...

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately I've already had my encounter with the little hump in the front wheel well, tried experimenting with a 235/75/15 with a gnarly offset, didn't work out too well. You think I could fit the 16x7 wheels you have on 215/70/16 (factory size) bfgoodrich all-terrains?

I'm diggin that summer look too

Sabian >> Try this Wheel calculator... This gives a very good clue if it fits or not...

If you are going for Dotz Dakar rims and bigger tyres, I would choose ET 20 in stead of ET13... The 7mm will do the difference in the Wheel well at full turn....

Which 15" rims did you have on your RAV?
I cant find any that will go on, without rubbing the brake calibers...

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it! I got brave once and tried fitting a 15x10 Mickey Thompson Cassic Lock Black, it possibly could have worked if I went with a low profile tire but that wasn't the look I was going for. I also tried fitting a 15x8 version of that same wheel, still couldn't get the right tire size however. I tried sizing down and going with a 15x7 Pro Comp 98 Series with a 235/75/15 bfgoodrich all-terrain and the offset was a little more than I expected which resulted in a little too much rub for comfort. Due to my poor math skills I was unable to make a 15in wheel work - I also wasn't willing to waste money on tires until I got a proper fit. I got tired of screwing up so I just stuck with the factory wheels and oem tire size. However, all three 15in wheels fit perfectly over the brake calipers, no grinding whatsoever, to my surprise they even had some room to spare.

Does anyone know a source for those? Looks like original sources no longer offer them.
