Per suggestion, I’m reposting this in the 4.4 forum in hopes of having better luck. I’ve got a 2016 rav 4 hybrid and while driving home my electrical systems just randomly restarted themselves: computer, dash, and interior lights. It was like the car turned itself off and then back on, but just the electronic bits. I still had total control of the engine, brakes, and steering. Similar threads mentioned this issue but with the engine shutting down too. Their solutions included fixing loose screws and battery issues but I’m not sure if the same thing will apply to me. Any thoughts? It’s at the dealer now. I’m out of warranty and they already want $120 to run a diag and I’m sure it will only get worse from there. Thanks in advance!

Replacing the 12V auxillary battery with a new battery would rule it out, a weak battery can cause weird electrical problems on HVs, checking it and the terminals would be a good place to start.
