The press are saying there will be a choice of 3 engines...

150bhp 2.0-litre petrol, or one of two turbodiesels, offering 134bhp or 175bhp.

So no V6 and no 7 rows

On sale late January my dealer told me, but they're not taking orders yet.

Yea I know. That europe don't get the V6 is an outrage...considering all the competitors has one. However....the RAV4 X-model, with the 177Hp diesel can be an option. I tried the Avensis with that engine and it ROCKED!!

I've never had a deisel, but it has got to be the quickest one with the big torque as well. A mate of mine has an Alfa 156 with a 2.4 deisel and that's a pretty rapid motor. I can wait to test drive one in January.
