Does anyone know what are those little flaps in front of each wheel. I just notice them and they are pretty cheap looking, looks like they might break off after some winter driving. Just wondering if anyone knows what their function is.
They probably redirect the airflow around the tires and along the undercarriage -- if you look more closely, you'll likely find them used in more vehicles than you'd think.
Should be made out of a very durable and flexible ABS plastic, so I wouldn't worry about them breaking very easily unless you intend on regularly pushing the underside of your RAV over some sizeably packed snowbanks (which would probably damage the front bumper skirt as well).
