Just ordered a Curt 2" hitch, and am looking to add a folding bike rack to it.

This one looks great for the price:

But I'm concerned that while folded, the back door might not clear it. Here are the dimensions:

Double check my math here....
8.1" from top of 1.25" tube, minus 3/8" filler plate (from 1.25 hitch to 2" hitch), minus (assuming) 3/8" thickness of curt hitch = sticks up 7.35".
Just measured the thickness of the rear bumper at about 6.5" (eyeballing it, because of the curve), so I don't think this will fit.

If you don't find what you need here, try googling HONDA ELEMENT BIKE HITCH. The requirements are virtually the same on both vehicles and the topic has been done to death over the Element groups.

No sporting goods shops up where you are? My fav shop will help take a floor model rack out to your vehicle to check fitment. FWIW, I have a 2013 with a 1.25" hitch and two bike racks. One is similar to the rack you referenced and the other is a Yakima Ridgeback. Both racks clear the door when folded, but the Ridgeback is the better unit hands down.
