Hello all! I haven't been on Rav4OZ lately due to tons of school work and transitions to a new college. First time I've been on Rav4world since it was closed, so it's good to be back on Rav4world! Anyway, I thought this was worth spreading the word around and thought everyone would benefit from this. Like every skeptical person out there, when I first heard of free ipods, I was like, "Nothing in this world is free," which is very true. So I did some research on google and found tons of news sites that actually said the free ipods site was real. Here are some links from reliable sources that back up the free ipods site:

http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614,00.html?tw=wn_story_top5

If you have doubts like I did about this, just go on google and search - FreeIpods - without the dashes and see what comes up. All a person has to do is sign up for one of their trial offers and refer five friends. So, here is the free ipods site:

Ok. So I received some emails asking me how legit the free ipods site is. Well, to tell you the truth, I think it's as legit as it gets since everywhere I search and look, people are saying that they have actually received their free ipods. I myself, am still working towards that free ipod. From what I understand, for every person that signs up for a trail with freeipod's sponser, freeipod will receive a commision and it is from that commision that freeipods is able to pay and give away the items. This is what I will do since I need a couple more referals in order to receive my free ipod. I will paypal anyone $5 USD if he/she will go to http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=15668821 and sign up and then sign up for a trial offer.

Steps:

1. Register. Takes only about 2 minutes. Select no on all the options, this won't effect you getting the iPod and then you don't have to deal with junk mail. Watch for the confirmation email in your junk email folder (just in case it doesn't go to your inbox)

2. Complete any one of their trial offers. There are many different offers to choose from. For some of them you'll get credit instantly and others you may have to wait a little bit. The blockbuster deal is one that you'll get credited instantly, plus it is well worth trying if you rent a lot of movies.

Alrighty then. After signing up for one of their trial offers, you'l receive an email confirming that offer. After confirming the email, go to http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=15668821 and member log-in. After logging in, click on STATUS and it'll tell you if it has confirmed that you've signed up for a trial offer. After it says "You have completed your requirements," let me know and I will paypal the $5 to you. Since it is a referal program and that is my referal link, it will list the email you've signed up with and your status at joining the trial offer, so there will be no confusion. The confirmation may take up to a week, so check your email regularly.

Just one thing though. Remember to cancel that trial offer you signed up for before the month is over so that they don't charge you any extra $$.

I actually saw a story on the news about these sites. Some are free ipods, some are free LCD TVs, and some other stuff too. I don't know about the websites mentioned above specifically, but it is true that some of the free product websites are legit. Some are just mining personal info of course, but the news story actually talked to some people who had received their free item so at least some of them are totally legit. I guess just see if you can find something verifying the site before you sign up, and if it checks out you're on your way to a free ipod.

Just out of pure curiosity....has anyone
here, actualy received any by now??????

Over here we have a T.V programme
called 'Fair Go' where they investigate
dodgy businesses etc and they had 3
people join up on those web sites that
claim you can earn hundreds of dollars bla bla bla
simply by doing surveys and they did this over a month
...it turns out they were all cons, not one person
earnt any money and some were asked to even PAY to join up
before you could actualy receive any surveys ??????

hmmm that saying too good to be true?
