Hi Gang,

I have been in a mission and it's to fix the delay starting of my Rav4. I have tried almost everything and was able to pin point the area of testing/ fixing.

The injectors are the only thing I have not inspect, cleaned or treat.

What is the best bet in testing, cleaning and if I HAVE to uninstall the entire rail.. so I can clean them, but I the only issue is my budget, the only thing I dispose of is the Carb cleaner can. But wish to know how you guys have done it, or guide me to complete this mission once and for all - I already wasted lots of $$ in parts that has not change the current symptoms, mechanics and attempts in timing, electrical and fuel now.

Please share what you know..

I have this as a starting base:

Thank you all!!

I've used that cleaning technique, but on another vehicle. For its injectors, a cheap/free (new) syringe body (with the plunger removed, and no needle installed) worked perfectly as the adapter; there is/was a Youtube video on it.

The carb cleaner is hazardous and extremely flammable, so be safe!

My use of the technique not only cleaned the injectors, but found that one was bad. So in my case, was worth learning and using.
