I know this is somewhat unsightly but I thought I would try this and see what happens. I may see sun and be able to provide an update.
Because this is just attached by Velcro, it won't be difficult to remove if unsatisfied.

haha, I have made this sun "shelter" with my hand to see a song that was playing before. That looks like it would work really well, but I gotta be honest. Butt.....ugly....reminds me of a blood pressure cuff

It works great for the glare. It works so well it's staying but yes it looks like bad.

I guess I will have to deal with the glare, because that is just to ugly to put in my wife's RAV.
