What I love more than searching for deals is finding 'em. Even though I just got my GPS system recently, I still looked around and found this:
http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/ele/137976172.html

It's not a touch screen, but it's definitely a great deal. Garmin came out with a Streetpilot i2, i3, and finally the i5 which is one of the nwer ones.....not that new, but newer than the older less functional models.

More info on the i5 here: http://www.garmin.com/products/spi5/ The retail price they show on the website is BS. The unit goes for about $400 at a store. But the craigslist link up top is selling for $290. For all you GPS newbies, Garmin entry level products do not require a subscription cost. Plug and play.

Beware that this model takes cell batteries, unlike the other units that have built in rechargable ones. See my other thread for reviews on GPS and stuff or check out my cardomain site which has got some more info for ya.

I dont' know the guy selling the unit, but I'm just passing on this deal b/c I'm just really hoping someone takes advantage of this one. By the way, the seller is claiming that it's new!

so many of you took a look at this. I hope when you buy it, ya take a couple seconds to post it here and let us know how you like it.

I just used my own GPS system today for work....heading to some unknown address. The garmin picked it up perfectly and headed me there.

I can't believe you guys haven't taken this thing yet. It's a great deal for a GPS system. It normally retails a lot higher,....even past $400. Brand new for $290? I saw another one on craigslist for $280 and it was a lesser model.
