I was on the passenger side earlier and pressed the cooled seat button. It felt weird like the whole panel pressed in. So I pressed some more! Sure enough that side of the panel is depressing inwards.

My assumption is a clip on that side of the panel wasn’t fully snapped to the lock position.

Anybody know how or of a post that describes removal of necessary dash panels to access behind the seat climate panel? I would like to avoid a dealer trip if necessary!

Bonus question: is there not a way to search just the 4.5 forum???

I have not found a way quite yet to do a valid search.

However if I was daring and desperately did not want to go to the dealer I would attempt to use a pick set carefully.

Admin says they're working on a better search feature, but still nothing in the last month since they changed the site, see the feedback discussion in Forums Support. I have better results using a google site search instead of the lame "search community" option.

The HVAC panel above it just pops out if you use a plastic panel pry tool.

I tried that but it wouldn't pop back in, I'd like take the whole assembly apart so I can see what is going on
