I was smart enough to take a few photos before I dismantled too much stuff. Now I'm reassembling.

I'm almost positive that this hose on the throttle body was not attached to anything at the other end. Could it be just a vent of some kind?
I've searched and I can't find any schematics that tell me what this is and where the other end goes. Ok, I did find a schematic that says this is a PCV Hose, but I have my doubts about that.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

It's a ventilation hose. (see picture below, part number 12261)
Not needed to be connected to anything.
The drain engine coolant hose is on the bottom of the throttle body.

Thanks Pim.
I found a second source which also referred to it as a PCV hose.
This morning I was searching around for any hose connections that this might mate up with.
Deep below the throttle body towards the bottom of the engine I eventually found (with a mirror) a pipe nipple that looked like it needed a hose on it. I have no idea what it was attached to, but I went ahead and hooked my loose hose end to it.
We'll see what happens.

What years is your RAV4? In my RAV4 I checked the book and it said what I stated about. You might have a different year or setup. I see that in the illustration that Mr. Pim posted, the Throttle body is kind of slanted,

I honestly think it's more for ease of recognition and thus a little bit of interpretation of the picture maker there. Which is a bit odd indeed, because the site i got it from is very accurate in it's pictures. My car's throttle body is as straightly mounted as can be. And it's a 97.
And please don't call me mister... I feel like i am 70 if you call me like that.
