I have excellent heat/airflow from all vents except nothing frim defrost vent on windshield dash. I had my windshield replaced about 6 weeks ago. Wondering if this may have caused the trouble. Only discovered the problem 2 weeks ago when the weather turned cold. Can someone help please? Frim what I have read it seems very expensive - full dash needs to come out? How can we be sure it didn’t happen when the windshield was replaced? What are our options? Thank you.

welcome to the forum.

It does sound as if the blend doors are now not functioning. I do not know how you could prove it to be caused by the windshield replacement at all if I am honest. Search on here for blend doors, but it is not a simple fix

We took off glove department and removed observation panel and noticed that one of the selector wheels on the air system flow was dislodged. However, we can’t seem to access it. The blower air intake motor is in the way and we can’t seem to find out how to remove it. Can anyone help??? Thank you. Gail.
