i bought this stock camera kit for my rav.

Installed it and plugged it all in but when i put it in reverse nothing!

headunit is the stock fujitsu pzq60-00200 which is a straight plug into the wiring harness.
any techies experienced cameras kits that dont work straight off the bat?
no settings i need to do on the headunit? park brake doesn't need to be down to switch on camera or anything weird like that?

the connector on the left is the one from the camera which has 4 pins

i was supplied with the PZQ60-00110 harness but have not spliced the blue and green wires to anyting which still wont turn on the camera

please take me a picture of the back of the radio ... with all the plugs unplugged, and take me a picture of the harness/plugs that are in your vehicle ... please omit any aftermarket connections that you may have there from the picture.

I think you have the sound system with the factory amplifier, however I am not familiar with your stock headunit, as toyota does not use that unit in the USA.

I looked into the camera kit ... this is an overpriced toyota accessory that is the exact same thing as the Eclipse (Fujitsu-Ten) BEC-108 ... the toyota accessory is made by fujitsu ten, who also makes the DENSO radios .. however the toyota accessory is twice the price! I can not locate the directions included in the toyota kit, so maybe you can take a picture of those and post it, so I can help you troubleshoot the problem.

In any event ... I think I may have found a wiring diagram for your radio. From my experience with the toyota headunits ... you do not need to program anything on the headunit itself ... you just simply need to ensure that pin 5 of the grey 5-pin connector has the 12v+ reverse signal present ... which I believe from the picture #1 it is there.

The only other connection that I see is required is the 4-pin camera connection. I'm not sure what the green wire and the purple wire get connected to ../ hopefully you can post the directions included with the kit, so I can make heads or tails of things.

you are right the pin 5 was meant to go to reverse signal.
it seems it wasnt properly spliced into the wire and i didnt need the PZq60-00110 harness after all.

i will upload the installation manual if anyone is interested?
