Hi there, I just brought a second hand 2002 RAV4 at 13.8k km. Today I drove it on the highway with the speed 120km, I found the rpm at this speed is around 3000. I wonder to know that is that a little bit too high for this car? If it is, I may need to go back to the dealer and find out if these is anything wrong with the engine? Or it is normal for RAV4? And my car is automatic transmission, 4 cylinders. Thanks for helping me.

I think 3000 RPM at that speed (75mph) is normal for that engine with the auto transmission. My V6 runs just under 2000 RPM at 70 with the 5 speed transmission.

Should be normal. I have a 2005, and it revs at around 2500 at 75mph.
