I've just tried this trick its very first time two days ago.

It's very easy to figure out and learn. By the third time I was truly doing it in under 5 secs. Probably 3 to 4 secs is all it takes now. The only thing is people behind you are wandering what's up hese stop lamp flashes. :?

To me these flashes are an indication that tmy RAV is turning into a drift happy ice shredding beast. I just love how it transforms that way. The things I was doing here in 2 foot deep snow and 5+ foot snow drifts is what dreams are made of. I would never try these things on my stock tires but COOPER DISCOVERERs M+S are insane in deep snow :roll:

By the way how did this trick ever surface? And how come its not in the owners manual?

I went a different route and hooked up a disable button that turns off the traction control and abs. When activated it cuts out the yaw sensor under the drivers seat which locks it in 4 wheel drive and kills the abs. As long as the switch is pushed in the traction control and abs are off even if you turn the car off and back on again.

This is great. Thanks for taking your time to share this. I would like to try this mod but I'm wandering about the following :?:

1. Does the Dash warning lamp ( Sliding car icon) still light up when the yaw sens is deactivated.
2. Can you turn it on while driving without any issues?
3 Only one wire is tapped. Right?
4 How did you ever figure this out...??? :roll:

Here is the procedure.
1. Car off.
2. Emergency brk. on.
3. Start car.
4. Pull emergency brk. 2X.
5. Pump brake pedal 2X.
6. Pull emergency brk. 2X.
7. Trac. Control. Light Off should turn on.
8. Have fun.
