Hi all

I'm struggling to remove the panel as shown in the video.
Need to remove it so I can access the main fuse which I believe
it's under it. It seems loosen but something locking it from
being lifted up.

The problem for my car is I can start the engine, but I can not shift the gear,
no fan, no window power, no heat, parking light on. This happened after I replaced
the alternator and I think I accidentally shorted the circuit

Here's the link of the video. As you can see, no matter how I move/shake,
the thing won't move.

thank you so much in advance.
best regards
John

Try pushing down where it says PUSH (in the center of the fuse box) and at the same time lift up the fuse box. The PUSH sign must be the lock mechanism so don't release while pulling upwards and pressing down on the PUSH.

Same thing happened to my4Runner. What you did was blew a fusible link going to the fuse block. Best way to fix it is to just add a 150 auto circuit breaker and tie it from the battery to the fuse box.
