The pictures online show them to be slick looking and outdated, but in person they have a mat finish and look very rugged in the Rav4. Also, the price and the fact that they completely cover the foot rest sealed the deal for me.[/COLOR]

Thank you very much for your Husky Liner post. The Husky Liners look very attractive, especially for people like me who live in several sandy locales along the East Coast. I also like the fact that they cover the foot rest and, therefore, the rapidly-wearing, grubby carpet around the plastic footrest pad.:frown

However, I've a question: How do you access the gas tank flap release lever? I see the gas tank icon on the mat. But where is the actual lever? Do you have to cut away the icon to make the lever poke out? Is the lever behind the rear edge of the mat?

The gas lever is just under the mat, so it's not an issue to get to. I'll take a pic tomorrow an post it.

I have black ones in my sport and love them...as far as the gas tank release lever goes you can cut out the little area around the icon or what I do is just lift up the mat a little and pull the release handle....during the winter once they start to get dirty and wet from snow and ice I take a few paper towels and toss them on the floor...soaks the water up and I can wipe away the dirt...very handy...

Hi I just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth about the Husky Liners. They are less expensive than the Weathertech liners and just as good quality. Also the Weathertech does not fully cover the left foot rest. It only goes up half way which leaves an unfinished look and is totally useless. That part needs to be fully covered.

Looks good. I have the Husky in my truck and I like the quality of these mats. They are easy to clean as well.

I put in Husky Liners about 3 weeks ago (fronts only so far). I did trim out the gas tank lever and mine didn't exactly line up just right- no big deal though. I do like the whole floor coverage the drivers side has including the foot rest on the left.

Another good thing about the Husky liners--they hold up very well to abuse. I bought them for my RAV4 because the 15+ year old ones in my parents' 4Runner are still in perfect condition (no scratches/wear/etc.), despite years of dogs riding in the vehicle, carrying hiking gear, construction material, whatever. I just hose them off twice a year or so. I got the tan color ones for my RAV4 and they clean up nicely--they've never looked dirty.
